We are glad we went to Sea World and enjoyed the huge effort they have put into displaying the wonders of our watery world and the nod towards conservation. It was very crowded and the signage and directions are not as helpful as could be.
We did find there was a real disconnect between the values talked and written about and what was happening in reality. The absence of healthy food and the abundance of plastic and wastage are an opportunity to do better. If ever there was a platform to provide an example of real leadership Sea World surely has it.

Had never been to Sea World before. Wow. What a great way to spend a day in San Diego. Experienced Orca whales AND belugas - incredible. Would definitely go back.

We had previously purchased tickets to enter and the food package. Walked up the enter and the employee checking us in told us we have to go stand in the ticket/reservations line to get food wrist bands. Stood in line for about 20 mins to be told we were misinformed. Waited in line again to re-enter the park. The park itself was very clean and the landscape is nice. The place was pretty packed and the staff is not staffed/trained properly to handle the volume. We ate 3 times and waited an average of 45 mins to get the food. The food was not good at all. The brisket was dry and cold as was the chicken. The sausage was very good though. The pizza and pasta is disgusting and we couldn't choke it down. The ribs were okay but cold and they ran out of bbq sauce. The fish tacos we're gross too. The only food that was good was the deserts, carrot and chocolate cake. The beer choices were great and located throughout the park. $14 for a souvenir plastic Pilsner glass. $10 refills. Very glad they had tasty and convenient beer choices. The animal shows are very boring. Nothing like they use to be. The entertainers for the shows did a great job with what they had but the people should not be the stars, the animals should in my opinion. We stayed late to see the night circ show but it was to capacity 15 mins before start time so we missed it. This place is very crowded and expensive and not worth it for what you get. Thanks for the past memories but we're done. Good luck and hope you make some improvements for future generations.

We had fun and they really try to make it interactive for the kids. The shows are fun and informative. The food choices were pretty decent as compared to the zoo say, and the beer choices were pretty awesome (shout out to pizza port!).

I would not recommend getting the reserved section passes. We never used them as the seats weren’t great and we always got there early enough (20-30min) to get great seats.

After the backlash from PETA SW is really having a hard time being entertaining. Not much to touch in the touch pools. If you are taking two little kids by yourself they can’t ride the rides because you must have 2 adults. Park is rundown in some parts and is not that fun. The trees and flowers were a plus everything was in boom.
Wrist bands for food are not worth it because
Food is limited to only a few choices. My kids really wanted pizza at the Italian place but that was only for the adult food bands I had to buy it even though I payed for food wrist bands for 9 people. Employees were so miserable and just not happy I almost felt bad.
I do appreciate that Seaworld gives veterans free tickets to enjoy the park with their families.
This place needs a little revamping and TLC these days.
