We first heard about this restaurant watching the Food Channel's Diner's, Drive In's and Dive's. We tried to get in one Saturday night a couple of month's ago but it was a 90 minute wait so gave up. Aaah but no wait on a Friday at 1130 a.m. on our next visit to San Diego. This place is situated in a grungy beach area of San Diego and the restaurant fits right in. Tough parking, grungy restaurant decoration a mix of beach types, yuppies and great food! The bar looks as popular as the restaurant. The Pho is delicious with deep flavors and all fresh ingredients. Very reasonable priced, good service...did you ever notice in many restaurants that servers move kinda slow right after it opens? We watched the food going out from the kitchen and there is so much more than the steaming bowls of Pho. So much more to explore.
