“Lovely to visit if you are in the area and interested in architecture or history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

Beautiful buildings and a peaceful place but because they are closed, and have scratty pieces of paper at the window, you only get half a sense of what they would have been like. Not quite what I expected but still enjoyable all the same.

“Stop by if you are in Old Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

We enjoyed visiting the Victorian Village and seeing how the houses have been beautifully restored. When we were there, one of the houses was open and contained a lovely shop that sold all things Victorian. Our girls enjoyed looking at all the sticker books, other books, dolls, toys, jewelry, etc., that the shop offered for sale.

“Beautiful outside but cant go inside”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2013 via mobile

The Victorian houses are Beautiful on the outside and well preserved. Unfortionately you can't go inside. We were so disappointed. Its like going to 1/2 of an adventure. The park grounds were well maintained but its on a hill and my handicapped challenged husband had a very difficult time.

“Would Be Nice to be Open to the Public”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2013

The houses look lovely on the grassy knoll.... They are closed up and not open to the public.....

So really, who cares, when you can not go inside?

At least they provide a nice view from the Hotel's building # 6!

“a charming village”

It's a nice way to see Victorian Houses all in one spot. They are lovely, nicely refurbished. You can imagine life at that time period there. A hidden San Diego gem
