The location of the hotel is excellent. However, the hotel itself needs improvements. For example, there are no safety handles inside the bath tube at all. The bath tube in my room is way too slippery and my family falls off when she/he stepped into the tube and there is no handle bars she/he can hold when the accident happened. In addition, the coffee machine is dirty and there are used cups still there!!! The waitress at the Barefoot Bar & Grill are not responsive and never showed up after we ordered our foods. The guest next to my table waited for at least 30 minutes after the same waitress showed up initially. Overall, a bad experience at this resort even though it is claimed as a four-star hotel.

Our dear friend, Nol, arranged a wonderful get-together for multiple families at Paradise Point this past weekend and it was a trip to remember. From the minute we arrived, the hotel staff met our every need, and we found the resort facilities to be exceptionally family-friendly. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed everything from the pools to the fire pits for s'mores to the beach-front access for morning runs to the prime location close to all of Mission Bay's most desirable attractions. We, however, were perfectly happy to stick to the resort, and our family gained many wonderful memories for the experience. We will definitely visit again!

Great location for typical San Diego activities for kids. On premises restaurants and services offer good food, which is reasonably priced for convenience and after a long day of outings. Family friendly, reliable, safe and appropriately priced.

We didn't stay here, but attended a formal military ball. It is a beautiful venue. The bar service, the meal and the facility were all outstanding. They helped to make it a wonderful, memorable evening. The staff was very polite and attentive, too!

Great location, wonderful grounds, friendly helpful staff. This is not a hotel for someone who is looking for a glitzy, all inclusive, big box resort. This resort has charm and intimacy and very family friendly grounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Idyllic setting makes you feel like you are on a tropical island. Be aware of the "daily" parking $34 and resort fee $24. The resort fee is added up front with the reservation, but unless you read the very fine print, the parking fee is a big surprise and much too expensive.

The resort was fantastic! My husband, daughter (4yr) and myself stayed in a Lanai room with our patio leading to the ocean. I love the Ego friendly rooms, staff was hands down best around, and I highly recommend, if you have time, to check out their spa. You must remember the resort was built in the 1950's and even thought there is some minor wear & tear they really have a beautiful property and rooms! They cater to every request and then some. Smores, waverunners, and much much more! We will be back and will stay longer as 3 days was not enough ;)

Room Tip: We stayed on the West side & if you use your Amex, they will upgrade when you arrive if they hav...

Loved the central location to the sights we wanted to take in! Rooms are modern but bathrooms obviously weren't updated. Needs some TLC. However, the grounds, activites and facilities might be what brings us back.

Friendly and helpful staff attempted to make the stay as pleasurable as possible given the rusty tub situation. Upgraded room was appreciated.
