The sandwiches are huge and they taste great. Even have gluten free for those with gluten sensitivities. AND they include a small cookie. Mmm

Huge portions if you are of a certain age half a sandwich is enough for two...the fountain drinks have some higher quality choices .... the Dom Pastram was good...the bread is all fresh baked all day...it is small and local...the service is fast...

came here for lunch and split the Cuban- very tasty, heavy but tasty with good meat. The cookies were also super delicious too. Kinda pricey but for the size its a good deal. I would recommend.

head up parking can be a bear but they have dog friendly (minimal) outdoor seating, with a water avail for your use :)

look for the big rubicon sign and bright green fake grass out front

Well prepared sandwiches, fresh bread and huge portions. There are two Rubicons; one in pacific beach and one by mission bay.

I used to live in San Diego and after discovering Rubicon, I ate there once a week. Now I live back east, and the first thing I do when I visit San Diego is head right to Rubicon. I've had all kinds of sandwiches and subs from all over, and none beat "The Stallion" on the garlic/herb bread. Between the fresh ingredients and freshly baked bread - which are small loaves of bread really, you can't go wrong.
