The trails are short, which is good if you have little kids, but not great if you want a workout. Gorgeous location, cool breeze, and you end up at an uncrowded beach.

Beautiful park to walk or drive through with stunning views of the ocean. It was one of the best parts of our trip to San Diego.

I like swimming here, although it's almost always high-tide, and I love hiking here with my family. It's always a big memory when I come because it's somewhat far from where I reside.

We were expecting cold weather but it was hot up there. Layer if you go. Lots of well maintained trails, paths down to the beach. This is a popular hiking area so expect crowds on weekend. If you are staying in San Diego, the traffic back into the city can be a bit overwhelming. Trails are easy, well maintained. Not for the intrepid traveler who is looking for serious hiking.

The area by the ocean where they were hang gliding is breath taking to me. We try to go there every time we are in the area.
