Very busy at sunset, but well worth the view! Definitely go at least once on your trip to San Diego!

We enjoyed a drive along the cliffs and a stop just after sunset. The area does not have a lot of parking and was quite crowded until sunset, so be prepared to take some time looking for parking unless you come early or rather late. The cliffs and ocean views are beautiful, and we enjoyed walking along the top of the cliffs, observing the changing light on the water and the late night sky. Bring your camera!

This place lends itself to beautiful pictures and it's free! Be careful with small children, you wouldn't want them to run ahead on their own. I envied all of the homeowners that had houses facing this park, their living room views can not be beat!

if you live around the area, i'm sure it would be a place just to hang out for hours on end just sitting around and listening to the water and nature.

if you're visiting, you'll probably wont spend more than an hour but i suppose it would depend on the time of day you're visiting.

regardless, go lol

What is there to dislike? It's very claim and tranquil there. We visit everytime we're in San Diego.
