First, we are not quite the W's demographic - we're older, don't like loud music anymore, etc etc. That said the W was a great place to stay as the staff is ENTIRELY attentive to their guest's needs; the rooms are a good size and spotless; the Living Room bar has great food and drink especially for happy hour and it's right near the Trolley.
We stopped by the rooftop bar and left right away because, as i said, we are too old to enjoy the loudness. But the Living Room, the large downstairs bar, was perfect for us and we had a great time.
The pool is small, that's true but it wasn't crowded when we were there. If we'd wanted to go and it was a busy time we'd probably knock down a star.
Or maybe not. We were totally pleasantly surprised and everything we did and everyone we encountered was perfect for a short stay!
