Went here with friends for brunch on a Saturday morning and had a pleasant experience.
The restaurant is in a rather large older house, with seating areas and the bar inside, and seating on a deck outside. We opted to be outside, and the seating area does have a translucent cover over it to block the direct sun but still allow plenty of light.
I ordered the "Meso Tasty," a grilled chicken breast, grilled pineapple, Maui onion chips, Swiss cheese, balsamic sauce, red pepper aioli, served on a toasted focaccia bun ($11) and it was very tasty and filling.
My friends ordered the "Big Bowl" salad with grilled shrimp, diced papaya, arugula, avocado, mango, fennel, and fresh mint, ($11) and the "Kiwi Breakfast" with poached egg, heirloom tomato, burrata cheese arugula, sourdough baguette, marmite/vegemite ($9). They seemed to enjoy their meals as well.
Service was initially a little inconsistent (I think they were just opening and not fully in gear yet), but once we were seated at the table, everything was fine.
It's a place I would return to again.
