My parents and I had a wonderful lunch at The Prado. I highly recommend reservations so that you can sit outside on the back patio. It’s has a casual but upscale feel. Our server, Lisa, was very friendly and extremely helpful in navigating the menu for one guest who is vegan. The Vegetarian black bean soup was incredible and the Mixed field salad with red & gold beets was fresh and delicious. All the meals came out quickly without any mistakes. The portions were so generous one could easily spilt a dish. We ended the meal by indulging in a dish of creamy flan. You must visit this restaurant when in San Diego. After lunch be sure to take time to stroll through the historic park. It will not disappoint.

My company rented out this restaurant for a Sales Team dinner and the food was excellent. From the Appetizers to the dessert. We had a great time. The staff handled our crowd very well. The weather was a little chilly for 6pm dinner for me, but good time had by all.

Came here for lunch on Sunday. Lucky to get a seat on the patio. Beautiful day for al fresco dining. Ordered the tortilla soup which was thick and decadent, full of flavour and a delight to the tastebuds. Main course consisted of beef tacos and fish tacos. The beef was cooked to perfection and served with a wonderful red cabbage slaw, tomato salsa, and some diced greens. Excellent and filling. The fish tacos were amazing and served with the red cabbage slaw, a jicama slaw and fresh mango. So good. Too full for dessert, but they all sounded great. The service was A+. A definite must if in the San Diego area.
