What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! I was in the "Tuscan Room", which is directly off the road, but my room was quiet and very comfortable. My kitchenette was incredibly well stocked with a wide variety of breakfast options. And what's more, Norm and Linda were very gracious hosts and happy to help out in anyway they could. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We are actually still here but couldn't wait to share how great this place is. Our family met up for the San Diego Crew Classic and we wanted it to be a special weekend since we don't get to spend time together much these days. It was special. Very. Put it this way....the first night I was already emailing friends, joking that I now have a wonderful house in San Diego. Our daughter stayed in the separate Tuscan Room in the front of the house (My wife and I were in the Garden Cottage, a beautiful place nestled between the little pool and the cozy patio gas fire-pit..no mess no fuss.. we were sitting out there every night). By the time we made it back to our cottage after she arrived late on Friday night, our daughter was texting us that she "never wanted to leave". We couldn't agree more. I have not even started to wax poetic about the endless supply of delicious food delivered to our room whenever we ran low, the spotlessly clean linens, the amazing outdoor landscape lighting,...the list is endless. I am a bit of a germaphobe, and usually detest dealing with hotel bed spreads, etc. For some reason, here, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. When I commented on that to our wonderful hosts, Norm and Linda, they explained the great lengths they go to to keep the whole place pristine, complete with special hygienic bedding. One bad thing...don't even think about trying to stay here for the 2013 Crew Classic...we are already booked! :) However, the following year our son will have graduated from college, so the place should be up for grabs. Do yourself a favor: Grab it. You won't be sorry.

Room Tip: The Tuscan Room is very large, and beautiful, but the slightly smaller Garden Cottage is right in th...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Hut. Linda and Norm were very helpful in helping us make the most of our San Diego visit by sharing their favorite restaurants and tourist tips and maps. We really enjoyed the in room breakfast option which allowed us to sleep in and eat breakfast on our own time vs. the set schedule of many B&Bs. It was nice to be close to the beach and have so many walking trails nearby .

Room Tip: We stayed in the Tuscan room which was very nice. If given the option we might recommend the Garden...

In addition of being a wonderful place with very nice hosts, they took excellent care of me when I became sick. How fortunate I was to be in the "Beach Hut"! Next time in SD I know where to go.

We were only able to stay two nights, but enjoyed the experience before having to head to la jolla. The stop at the beach hut was well worth it. Norm and Linda even picked us up from the airport, since Norm was also needing to pick up Linda. It was nice to be able to make your own breakfast with plenty of options. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Right at mission bay, highly recommend renting a segway and seeing the entire bay. Hope we can stay agian and longer. Thanks Norm and Linda

The greeting by our hosts was great, with all sorts of ideas of places to see, things to do and restaurants to try.
The rooms were incredible, comfortable, tons of food, and lots of hot water. The appontiments were modern, well done, providing a great romantic spirit.
The yard was a great spot for a soak, to have snacks and a beverage and to have conversations to settle global issues with our travelling companions.
Norm gave us great ideas for directions for the next lag of our trip and we took many photos of their yard for ideas to use in redoing our own spaces, back home (very nicely laid out).
