Wanted to try something different since we always go to the tried and true Filipo's.
I'm so glad we did. Delicious eggplant appetizer and wonderful pasta dishes, especially the mixed green pesto pasta. Friendly service, nice atmosphere too.
I will definitely return!

We went to little italy and decided to try out this place because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed the meat and cheese plate was more than plenty for two, it was very tasty. Excellent wine selection, Service was very nice.

Stopped in for a glass of wine and snack. Lots of wines by the glass, heavy on Italian wine. Cheese and fruit plate was delightful, and is a nice snack for two. Italian wines were good, if a little pricey starting at $9 a glass. The two Tuscan wines I tried were good. Not too much difference between the $10 glass and the $16 glass, but that is a matter of taste. They serve salads and sandwiches as well, most under $15. Service was very good. Tables, bar, and sidewalk seating. Busy place.

Stopped by for a glass of wine and an appetizer on a recent trip to San Diego. The state of cleanliness disuaded us from staying for a meal. The males' washroom was "in-a-state", by the fact it looked like it had not been cleaned for hours, i.e. used paper towels cascaded out of the wastebasket across the floor.
We sat inside on the couches. We had to ask for the table to be wipped down and had to ask them again to do it properly. The floor/carpet around the table was filthy.
Although our vegetable appetizer was OK, they must rely on the clientiele to be seated in the dark.
And why did they have a number of TV screens showing sports (though with the sound off). This is not a sports bar.
