We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night as we were going to attend the Sicilian Festival on Sunday,,,the hotel is in a great location right in the heart of downtown. Parking was on premise for a $10 fee and continental breakfast for two was just okay. Free Wi-fi for guests worked good. Only one elevator and was slow, but was told they are adding another one. The room was clean and quiet. Overall the stay was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle to/from the airport was timely. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is well maintained. We easily walked to Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Petco Park, Seaport Village, USS Midway, Coronado Ferry and the trolley. Little Italy was just blocks away with great restaurants and a fabulous Saturday market. Old Town was about 2 trolley stops away. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. The elevator issue was only a problem about 3 times during our 7 night stay. There is some trolley/ship noise, but not a problem at night. The bay view from an upper floor room is beautiful. We definitely recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed being on the 12th, top floor, for the views. Yes, the single semi operating elevator was a chore. Room was average and not totally clean. Desk and table tops were not all that clean in that there were sticky spills remaining. Connecting restaurant offered very nice evening meals at good prices. Breakfast in the same restaurant was
average but expected per the usual expectations for BW. The always present tip jar. I do tip but do not care for the begging bowl. Does not seem classy. TV so, so. No Fox News. Bias? There is a plus for this hotel and that is the staff. Well staffed, helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Top floor once the elevator renovation is done.

We stayed during spring break for two nights. They had 2 elevators one did not work so it took an eternity for the one that works. Even the cleaning staff waited for the elevator. They should have given a better breakfast for the inconvenience or not charged $10 bucks for parking. Which leads me to the free breakfast- powdered eggs, pancakes, cereal, toast, muffins, coffee, juice. The location was good, walking distance to little Italy. You can hear train noise in the room even with the windows closed. Room was clean except I think they forgot to replace the soap in our bathroom. Internet was free but sloooow. You'll use up your battery and not get anywhere.

The place is nice and the location is awesome with great access to Little Italy and downtown. The room was clean with a noisy vent in the bathroom that shut down during sleeping hours. My main complaint is the airport shuttle takes forever, you are better off taking a cab.

The hotel is very well located e near all the main attractions, although the streets near by stay a little deserted at night. The room is big and comfortable and the staff is helpful. They have parking, but you have to pay US$10 per night, which is not bad.

One of the elevators was being renovated, so we only had one working, which as bit annoying, since sometimes you had to wait more than expected. Nevetherless, it´s a minor temporary problem.

The dowside for me was the breakfast. Although it´s included, it has very little options and it´s very poor. I expected more!

Great hotel if you don't plan on staying in a lot. One elevator was out of order which was a bit of a nuisance, and don't plan on sun bathing because the pool is surrounded by tall buildings. Other than that it was clean and efficient and the parking garage was very convenient albeit pricey.
