Stayed here for two night whilst passing through San Diego. Staff were friendly and room was actually pretty good. Biggest problem with our was that due to the thin sliding glass door it was incredibly noisy, you might be able to get around this by staying in a different wing or on a different level.

Thank you very much for staying with us! We really appreciate you pointing out the quality of our room, and especially your comments about our friendly and attentive staff. We do apologize that the ambient noise made your stay less than exemplary. As we are located near so much of what makes San Diego great (Convention Center, Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo), we realize that this urban hustle and bustle can on rare occasion be louder than a suburban property.

The price was reasonable, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and it sounded as if I was sleeping in the middle of I-5. The free wifi was way over priced, I had to spend my time with tech support trying to get it to work (which it never did). The staff was very unconcerned about the wifi. They gave me a 1880 number to call. I don't think it should be a guest responsibility to trouble shoot anything in a hotel. A "I am sorry you are having problems" would at least feigned concern.

Thank you very much for your review. While we appreciate your comments regarding the comfort and cleanliness of our rooms and our convenient location, we are sorry to hear that your stay wasn't entirely pleasant. Most disconcerting was your comment about faulty internet service. We know how frustrating this can be. Still, after interviewing each staff member, no one remembers offering a guest an 800 number to call, as that has never been our practice.

In any case, we do regret any inconvenience that you experienced, and hope you will give us another opportunity to serve. And remember, always book directly at 619-239-2285 or at daysinn.com for the lowest rate, best cancellation policy, and Wyndham Rewards points.
