We really enjoyed our three nights at the Bahia. Our room overlooked the Bay and we had a wonderful view of the Aquarium fireworks. Our room had a full kitchen, sitting room, deck and safe. The hotel pool caters mostly to families and gets busy at times. The hotel offers a free video arcade for younger guests with air hockey, pac man, space invaders etc.

Customer Service exceeded expectations. We had a really pleasant fellow check us in; he was keen to chat and set the holiday off to a good start. We also had dinner in the restaurant one night; the food was okay, but service was again very good.

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to Mission Beach. Don't miss the chance to walk the boardwalk at sunset.

I was there for my friend's wedding in July and was very impressed. She raved about her her experience with her coordinator (Yinka) there who took over from a previous coordinator she was not a fan of. The wedding was beautiful and the staff was great! What a beautiful place to have a wedding or a vacation. Keep up the good work!

We have stayed at a couple of different properties on Mission Bay in San Diego, but this time my wife found an online special at the Bahia. It's an older property on Mission Bay, right next to Mission Beach. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, although the TV was set up in an inconvenient place. No microwave, but did have small fridge. Our room overlooked the restaurant, so not very pleasant, but OK. The on property restaurant was very nice for breakfast, although if you are a coffee lover, order an espresso. Nice grounds, pool with jacuzzi and tennis courts, but best thing about this place is proximity to Mission Beach and the great walking path around the bay, awesome! You can walk, run, or rent bikes to go around the bay! We walked it to a cute coffee place in Mission Beach called Better Buzz, very neat place and good coffee, plus scones, muffins and sandwiches.

Room Tip: Splurge for a bay front room or one with a view, others don't have very nice views, i.e., parking lot, etc.

Loved this hotel. We had a little bungalow consisting of a bedroom and bathroom with a little vanity basin in between. The room was clean and bright, patio doors led straight out onto a patio with two sun loungers and from there you looked out onto a sandy bay, such a beautiful view. Close at hand was the swimming pool, reception, bar and little shop and the paddle boat which takes you across the bay to the sister hotel. Very close (10 minute walk) to mission beach. Minutes away by car to san diego zoo and seaworld. The only downside was we didn't have enough time to spend here. Will go back and spend atleast a week exploring the area and enjoying the bay.

Close enough to San Diego yet far enough away. Very close to Sea World and Mission Bay. Lovely grounds, pool and jacuzzi, tennis (raquets and balls supllied by Bahia) and shuffle board courts. A walk across a low traveled street from our room to a bay side beach that is open to the public however, not very crowded. Room had a fridge and coffee maker. Clean, quiet room with comfortable beds. Ours faced the bay that seemed very private with its enterance directly off the parking area and silders out to a private patio with table, chairs and a chaise lounge overlooking the bay and beach. We were welcomed every morning on our patio by some friendly, well fed ducks. My daughters also enjoyed visiting a rescued seal by the restaurant.

Room Tip: Ask for beachfront room.
