If this is what beaches looked like before man brought the motels, shame on man. Beautiful, natural beaches complete with dunes. Plenty of parking. A must see. Kudos to the National Park Service for protecting this pearl.

What a beautiful beach. So many miles to walk, swim, sun, people watch, sea shell hunt, explore. The beach is easily accessed over a short boardwalk. There are 13, (I think) spots to park, and most have bathrooms, drinking fountains, and trash receptacles. The first 6 were fairly busy, then they were virtually empty. However, we went to #13, as we were told that is where some nudists might be lingering. So off we go, just curious. And we certainly got an eye full-lol. Most of the people were in their 60's I would say-good for them! All were up on the top side of the beach, except for a few sea shell hunting, or walking to/from the water. No obscene things going on. No hotties, no young people. Just older locals who want the experience of being in the buff. The beach is great to walk along, and some really pretty shells, nothing spectacular. The waves were pretty large, and the water warm, even though we just walked in the surf. A nice place to go for a day at the beach. However, there are no amenities, like food, gas or stores, so beware of that. It also cost $3.00 apiece to get in, and the road can get confusing, so ask or get a map. You can also see the NASA launch pads from here, a great sight.

If you like a natural beach then you will like this one. There is a fee of about $5. You will see alligators and many birds on your way out to the beach but don't expect a regular Florida beach. Once at the beach there are rustic bathrooms but no food or drinks available so come prepared. You will take a catwalk over a high dune to the water and will be right on the beach. The bottom drops off pretty quickly here and there are sharks on occasion so beware. It is not my favorite beach. I prefer New Symrna where you can drive on or Cocoa depending what mood I am in because they both have more gentle slopes. However, you will also be able to see the tower for the space shuttle as you get close to the beach and maybe a shuttle if it is on the North pad. If you are surfing go all the way to the last parking and walk North.
