“Lots to see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

Lots to see and do. Enjoyed the new Space shuttle exhibit as well as the huge Saturn five Rocket. Overwhelming with things to occupy one. Had to prioritise what to see. A place to spend many hours! Oh , the IMAX cinema is very good with great films on a space theme.

“Dog park”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

No water fountain for dogs, small space, and dog beach is not available. No signs saying if you can walk around the park with your dogs. You have to park on the street and parking is a $1.00 an hour. Dose have soft grass.

“Best place to watch rocket launches”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

It is the best place to watch launches from KSC. It is a lot better than paying the ridiculous prices to watch launches from the Kennedy Space Center visitor complex. The park is nice and also has another section across the street with a dedication to those who have helped with the space program.

“A small historical park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 February 2014

During the peak of the space shuttle era this park was full of observers when the shuttle was scheduled to launch. The small park has several plaques describing the early space launches as well as a pier that offers a nice view of the Indian River. You may see manatees and dolphin if you are lucky. Fish jumping is quite common. Near the Berger King for a quick reference point. Nice place for a picnic or just to watch boat traffic and people. Bathrooms available.

“Good Blend of History & Nature”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 February 2014

Nice park that showcases the history of the space program. We came here a few days before a launch, so I was getting a feel for the place and how it fairs as a launch viewing area. The walk along the pier was pleasant. The park was very clean and felt safe. I really like how the space displays are mixed in with the natural surrounds of the park.
Met some fellow space and launch enthusiasts and found it a rewarding place to chat about rockets, shuttles and the space program with like minded people. On my list to return once the new NASA rockets start flying.
