“Good, what you would expect, alligator to see near lot!”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

The food was good like you would expect from Cracker Barrel, and it came really fast too! Desserts are also good. There is a pond next to the parking lot with some cool turtles to see and a four foot alligator, the highlight of going to cracker barrel

“You know what you're getting.”

Breakfast is always good, love the pancakes and hash brown casserole. You know the restaurant no matter where you've been. I mean, it's Cracker Barrel. :)

“New Campfire Meals a hit!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

This Cracker Barrel location is conveniently located just off I-95 on SR 50 in Titusville. Unlike most CB's, this one is right on the side of the road and easy to get into - not hidden down some long weird twisty side-road like most CB's LOL! We often stop here on our way back to the Orlando area from the Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve. The food is generally pretty good, as you find in most CB's. The new Campfire Meals are great! We happened to get them the day they first appeared on the menu. Hubby got the chicken meal - I got the beef. You cannot substitute the advertised veggies, as each meal is cooked inside a foil pocket and comes to the table that way, ready for you to unwrap. Included in each is a nice serving of chicken or beef - with red skin potatoes, carrots, and corn on the cob (one whole cob, cut in half). The beef was very tender and had cut up onions on top - the chicken well seasoned. You could cut both the potatoes and carrots with your fork. Both meals had a generous portion of juice at the bottom of the dish, great for ladling over the potatoes. Comes with choice of 2 pieces of biscuits or cornbread (ask for some apple butter on the side - tasty!). We would definatly order these again. Our only complaint was the corn, which was probably frozen and recooked. While well seasoned - actually kind of spicy, so we wondered if that was the "campfire" spice - the cobs had mushy corn, typical of frozen. But we ate heartily, and brought a bit home for leftovers. We also shared the new chocolate pecan pie cobbler - a crust of chocolate cookie with pecan pie cobbler baked in it, topped with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Very tasty, and huge at $3.49! Absolutely big enough to share - sweet and gooey and more than filling. Our waiter Matt was very attentive, and we heard him asking everyone if they needed a drink to go on their way out. On our way out, we purchased a loaf of the wheat sourdough bread, which actually has a bit of sweetness to it, and great for sandwiches! Keep in mind that is available for purchase. The hostess checking us out actually went back to the kitchen and retrieved a fresh loaf for us. The parking area is expansive, but we saw many cars parked in the RV spots. I know the restaurant was extra busy because it was Father's day, but it seemed rude of the patrons to take up these special spaces. Outside the restaurant, on the I-95 side of the parking area there is a creek. Check it out for gators and turtles and fish!! We spotted a very active soft shell turtle, and two small gators - one about 3 feet, the other more like 4. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM - just take photos! As we walked alongside the fence surrounding the creek, the gators followed our movements - obviously because prior visitors had tossed them a morsel or two. FYI tourists - once a gator looses its fear of people and remembers them as "food sources" they often have to be killed as nuisance gators! Show the love by not feeding them! The fence is rather loose in some places, so be careful how hard you lean against it. The store inside was filled with the usual assortment of pretty women's clothing, jewelry, games, kitchen ware, etc. Always fun to shop.
