Recommended length of visit: <1 hour
Owner description: A museum dedicated to the Space Workers of the Canaveral Spaceport who built the rockets and launch pads that allowed the US to reach the Moon, and send probes to the outer planets. Many of the artifacts in the museum are simply on "long term loan" by those now retired space workers.

From the road, it looks pretty sketchy. Inside it's a treasure trove of space program memorabilia, gear and history, maintained by guys who love the space program. They survive on donations so make sure you donate something or hit up their gift shop for souvenirs.

Wonderful opportunity to view the displays in this free Museum in downtown Titusville. Retirees speak to visitors about their jobs at the Kennedy Space Ctr. over the last 30-50 years. Small gift shop for toys & souvenirs at reasonable prices which are used to maintain the Museum. One block from Space View Park.

Don't waste your time and hundred and hundreds of dollars going to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center. This is the place to go to really learn about the Florida aerospace business. And it's free!

Don't miss it.

but if you are into space stuff it is really neat to be able to touch a real NASA console. Docents will give tours on weekdays only so go then.

They have so much of the space-era to see and feel. Talk with the volunteers, most of whom have actually worked on the previous missions.
