We have frequented this restaurant several times and you have to work your way around the majority of the "fried food" choices. Kids love it and old people who want large portions enjoy it. You go there to eat, not dine. The food is fresh and cooked well, service is faster than average, but you are not rushed out the door. The wait staff is efficient and friendly and well trained. It is always busy as the locals can afford the reasonable prices. It is a clean and well operated restaurant. you get what you pay for.

The service is as good as anywhere, great food with a good portion. Starting going there about 4 years ago and loved the place since first visit. If you are not a fried food person stay away, but if you like fried foods, you will hit the jackpot here at Corky Bells. They are always busy, but it doesn't take long to be seated. I live in Bee Spring, KY. And I'm headed that way tomorrow, YUM

Corky's is right on the main road off of the highway and offers a good amount of food for a good price at lunch. However....I ordered the flounder, which had a bad oily, fishy taste to it (and I normally like flounder). Lots of fried food here. The corn fritters were basically donuts (tasty if that is what you want), with no cornmeal or corn that I could detect. Passable cole slaw, passable french fries. Some pretty murals on the wall, but otherwise, not much for atmosphere, and no water views. There are so many good seafood places around, I would not waste my time here.

It's not a fancy place. But the food is tasty, the servings are large, the prices fair, and the service good.
