Having the privilege of vacationing on the Cape my entire life and having spent numerous long weekends at this Inn since my college days (early 1980s), I can honestly say it is truly a pleasure every time to return and find its essence virtually unchanged, and better for it. The main building is simply a very old house - anyone who has never lived in an older home and is unaccustomed to the sights, sound, and smells of such, may wish to look elsewhere - as should those seeking the more institutionalized model of the contemporary chain hotel/resort with hi tech rooms and swimming pool. Climate control is limited, and the windows actually open. I see this as a plus. For the price, the accommodations and location are outstanding.
Our stay included booking two rooms with a shared bath. Everything was very clean and comfortable and in excellent working order. Staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful.More
