We were aware that the menu prices were higher than most and ambivalent about whether justified. Upon entering we were told our table was not ready, and that seats at the bar were reserved. The hostess noting our hesitation, immediately found two seats at the bar that were not reserved until later (we were a party of 3) and comped a round of drinks. The wait was minimal. Two of our dinner items were superb: the wasabi crusted tuna and the homemade tortelli with shaved truffles. The foie gras mousse appetizer was excellent! Save room for desert we enjoyed the creme brulee and the chocolate molten which was very light with complex flavors.
Based on our preferences, french press coffee would go well with it. Our server was pleasant, and there was silly organ grinder music playing intermittently throughout the evening. Well worth the visit.
