We did not try to get there for a sunset, given the small size of the parking lot and the crowds who reportedly show up for the sundown show. But at mid morning, it was quiet and solitary. I didn't expect any views this grand on the bay side of the Cape. I would happily revisit for a day or so. Guidebooks say to come an hour before sundown, bring a picnic supper and eat on the picnic tables. Couldn't locate any tables, so bring a blanket.
