Description: A dining experience at Winslow's begins with a warm greeting from Tracey Barry Hunt, the General Manager who oversees "the front of the house." A former documentary television producer and director, Tracey loves speaking with guests and sharing local knowledge about her favorite spots on the Cape. Winslow's menu and wine list are created by South African born Chef, Phillip Hunt, Tracey's husband. Phillip is always happy to share his passion and vast knowledge of wine with guests interested in recommendations and food pairings. On any given day Tracey and Phillip's two young sons, Hunter and Romanee (our grill and saute cooks for the 2020 season!) may also make an appearance at Winslow's to pick some herbs for Dad or entertain the staff and guests with Mom.

We eat here pretty much every summer during our trips to Truro. The oysters so fresh, they're from down the street! The BLT I had was the best sandwich I've ever had - seriously. Prosciutto? Good. Fresh lobster? Good. Put together in a yummy panini? The best!!

The outdoor seating is wonderful, always some shade if you want it. And the service is always excellent!

Hey Amy! We are so happy to hear you loved your BLT. We work hard to make every experience "worth a stop" ;-) and we can't wait to have to stop back again soon! We'll have our juicy fresh oysters waiting for ya!

Last night we attended a fund raising Wine Dinner at Winslow's Tavern. The dinner was fabulous beyond anyone's imagination! The wines were special as well…all from the Swartland region of South Africa. Each delicious course was paired with a wonderful wine. We started with a citrus cured salmon, avocado salad with a cucumber buttermilk dressing. On to smoked mussels (yum) roasted baby carrots, a citrus yogurt and more. Then a sweetcorn risotto, seared scallop with prosciutto and Meyer lemon oil. On and on it went from delicious course to delicious course. Chef Phillip Hunt is imaginative and talented. We are never disappointed at Winslow's but this dinner was above and beyond. although this was a special event to raise funds for Outer Cape Health Services I would not hesitate to visit this special restaurant. Be daring and try something outside of the box. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and and I shared skewered swordfish on a fresh bed of peas and snow peas and a fig and prosciutto pizza. The food was delicious and the service extremely friendly and efficient.

My wife and I have experienced foods worldwide. Winslow's ranks with very few restaurants at the top of the list for quality of food and gracious service. In our two days in Wellfleet we chose to dine at Winslow's two evenings and one noontime meal. We congratulate the General Manager Tracey Hunt and remember fondly the total service orientation of Nicole and Erika.
