“Closest to the park”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Two buildings on the property, the back one is further from the road so quieter, but all is pretty quiet here. The rooms are all exterior access with some rooms where you could park directly in front. There are lovely views from the second floor balconies. Breakfast is not included but there is a restaurant attached to the hotel office. The rooms are good size with fridge and microwave.

We stayed here due to the proximity to Capitol Reef National Park. It was excellent in every way. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, and went out of their way to assist us with a couple of requests. We enjoyed the view from the room balcony in the evening, would definitely get that type of room again. We liked it so much here we came back three days later and stayed again on the way home.

We were on route to Zebra slot canyon in Escalante Ut so this was a convenient stay for the night before . Good scenic location, clean, comfortable room, couple of laundry facilities were helpful, good attached restaurant. would rate highly.

This hotel is the last place to stay on Highway 24 before entering Capitol Reef National Park, and the views from the back of the hotel are breathtaking. My room was on the second floor in the back, so I enjoyed waking up to the sunrise over the mountains. The room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Everything about the room is great until you see the bathroom. I'm not claustrophobic, but the bathroom is ridiculously small. The restaurant is also nothing to write home about. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

We got this room for a great price. The best thing about this room is the view. The second best thing is that it is the closest hotel to Capital Reef entrance. The room and bathroom were clean. We enjoyed having the mini microwave. It also has a fridge and flat screen tv. It was a little noisy. We could hear footsteps above us, showers running and toilets flushing. I wad so tired at the end of the day that I didn't notice the noises and fell right to sleep. The bed were comfy and each bed had four pillows. J

Get a room on the 2nd floor. Back car up to the door to unload & walk thru to the balcony with a FANTASTIC view! Not sure if all the 2nd floor rooms are like this, but 2 of the buildings are built into a slope so the front door is level with the parking lot & the private balcony is on the 2nd floor level. Really enjoyed the stay & want to return.

This was a nice place to stay. Downside - breakfast was not included. Pool was small but ok. Beds comfortable. Included tiny fridge and microwave. Price was a bit steep.....but most places in Torrey are.

Room Tip: Ask for a back room with a view.
