My wife and I returned for a week stay, as we had done last year, and plan to do in 2013. Love everything about this family owned hotel. Very safe - new, well-built, completely smoke detectored and sprinklered. Entire hotel is non-smoking. Tried the jetted hot tub for the first time. Better than the one at my fancy health club.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel face a gorgeous mountain range with not a road in sight, just two...

This was a very nice hotel, check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The room was in good shape. They do need new pillows as the ones we had were pretty old. It was nice and quiet, so getting to sleep was easy. Breakfast was basic, but good. The staff made sure items were stocked and the coffee was full.

Stayed 2 nights last week. Hotel is clean and was well maintained & price very reasonable. Walls a little thin but thankfully, could turn on the A/C fan & not hear others at night. A/C & fan were pretty loud, but better than hearing others' noise. Bathroom fan keeps bathroom well ventilated. Has a one-step-above standard free continental breakfast, ice machine, and a computer in the lobby with internet that any guest can use. Convenient location for those visiting Capitol Reef Nat'l Park. Nothing to rave about, but was pleased overall with this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 2nd floor if you don't want to hear people walking above you!

This hotel is very well maintained, facilities are fine and the service excellent. Good value, too. Not far out of town is the Rim Rock restaurant: on our visit the food and service were excellent.

Nice clean motel...outside of Capital Reef National Park.
There are several motels in this small town...this one seemed to be the newest.
Asked for a room facing the yellow barn and horses in the pasture.
Staff was helpful...family run..making reservations by phone was easy.

Room and Price were great, the service and employees are just great !
We needed the place to make a stop for a night between capital reef and bryce canyon. We relaxed in the refreshing pool and the jakuzi and had fabulous extraordinary dinner at cafe diabolo. Our host recommended that one and also gave us a map of other things to see on our way. It was absolute worth it. We would chose this place again.

We chose this hotel as it was dog friendly. The people there are all lovely and anxious to help. Our room was a regular motel room. Two queen beds and very clean. Nothing outstanding. The TV was very old and the remote didn't work well. My main complaint is with outlets. They had enough outlets but on the wall beside each bed near the floor. There were none around the desk area where you would like to plug in your computer or charge your camera. You had to sit on the bed to work on your computer while charging and it was hard on your back. Most hotels now have those nice desk lamps that have plugs on them. I would highly recommend they get some of these. The breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular. There were no lids for the coffee as they do not like you to take it out of the breakfast room. I found this annoying as I like to get my coffee first thing and take it to the room and then have another while eating.

The scenery was outstanding and the staff are working hard at making the outside look nice. Don't know if this is new or remodeled from a previous hotel. I would think a remodel as the tv's are old and while the beds aren't horrible, they are definitely not new. All in all it was a good stay and I would stay again if in the area.
