This is a very nice place to stay. We stayed 1 night here in our RV as we were passing through from Arches to Bryce. We stayed here so we could get a quick view of Capital Reef and take our time on the drive to Bryce on Highway 12 the next day. The views are incredible. The have very nice fire pits also. The General Store has ample supplies and trinkets as well.

We had a full-hookup pull-through. The view was amazing!! Even when a motorhome pulled in next to us we still had a great view.
The facilities were clean (the bathrooms were rustic, but still clean). The pool was great, although too cold for me to get in. At check in, we were told they had just put in a new heater so it might still be cool.
The gift store was very nice and the prices were good. They also have a grill. You put in your order at the front desk and go to the picnic area to eat. It listed unlimited beverages so, for some reason, we were expecting soda. The beverages were lemonade and tea. Still good. The servers were girls about 10 years old. They made a few mistakes, but no one minded and they were working hard. I was disappointed in the cost of the meal. I paid @$25 for two pieces of chicken(which was dry), beans, salad, cowboy potatoes (which I found to be fantastic!) and a bowl of vanilla ice cream (the brochure said "ice cream sundae"). The meal was okay for the price I paid.
Wi-Fi access was pretty good.
I would definitely stay here again.

In June we stayed one night at the campground in Thousand Lakes. The people that worked there were all extremely nice and accommodating. We got some great hiking advice trail-wise and we learned a little about the area. They have a great shop there for food/supplies, and there's a Subway up the street if you just want someone else to make your food. Oh... and their bathrooms are TO DIE FOR. Clean and well taken care of. The campsites could have stood to be slightly larger, but at least they were flat and easy to pitch a tent in.

My wife and I stayed at Thousand Lakes RV Park & Campground for 2 nights this past weekend. We had initially reserved a partial hook-up site as all others were reserved, upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a full hook-up site as there had been a cancellation. The campground has great views in all directions, has a lot of shade, and is very well kept, each site is raked and leveled before being occupied and the sites are some of the most level that we have used. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and able to answer all of our questions. We had a problem with the awning on our 5th wheel and one of the maintenance staff (I'm sorry but I didn't get his name) let us borrow one of their ladders. I'm not sure what I would have done without the use of their ladder, it would have made the repairs difficult if not impossible. Overall our stay was wonderful, quiet and peaceful and we would definitely recommend Thousand Lakes RV Park & Campground to anyone visiting Torrey, Utah or the Capitol Reef National Park area. We will be staying here the next time we visit Torrey.

We stayed over the 4th of July, and spent one night in a tent and the other one in one of the cabins. The tent sites were all equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin had a nice porch with chairs and also a picnic table and fire pit. We had our own bedding, but the campground does provide it for you if you need it.
The country store has everything you need, and didn't pack. There is also bathrooms and showers and a pool.
We had a great time.

We got into the camp around 9:00 p.m. by the time we finished setting up it was 10:00 p.m., my kids were sitting by our trailor wating for their dinner, they were giggling and they got yelled at.The staff there are very ignorant! My children were yelled at for not having a shirt on. My dog got out of our trailor with out her leash for a split second and one of the staff came over very unfriendly and yelled at my husband. That is just a couple of the problems that we had we will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will we every stay there again and we go to Torrey annually! If you don't have children or animals this place would probably be okay. The new owners just have this place ruined!

Superb cabin! Well designed, private, spacious, clean, welcoming. Little town up the road has services. Pool felt great after a dry, hot day. The shop has good quality clothing at good prices. We were sad we had only one night here between Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon.

Room Tip: We had a deluxe cabin that included a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. We used all of those ameni...
