This B&B is a delight set in the desert between the town of Torrey, Utah and Capitol Reef National Park.

We chose the large and only room on the third floor. Dormered rooms with sloped ceilings are always favorites with us. While there, we looked into most of the other rooms. Hot tub on a private deck looking out at Capitol Reef has to be a treat. Decor throughout is elegant yet comfortable.

Breakfast was outstanding!!!!! Took every opportunity we could to talk with owner/innkeeper, Irene. Lots to share.

SkyRidge is a very lovely comfortable B&B. We stayed 2nights In Juniper room. Very comfortable memory foam bed. Relaxed in the large jaccuzzi tub. Nice porch to watch the stars from. Friendly inn keeper. She is very accommodating and a very good hostess. Breakfast was very good beautiful view from the dining room. Lots of windows, nice common living area with lots of information about the area. Glad to have stayed here.

Room Tip: Our room faces east so we got full sun as soon as it came up. Fine for Nov. or later in the season...

My wife and I spent three nights this October at the SkyRidge as our base for a hiking/driving trip to the Capitol Reef area. We stayed in the second floor Sagebrush room, which has windows on east, south and west sides, creating a panorama of the sandstone spires in the park, Boulder Mountain to the south, and redrock to the west - my comment was that it felt like a constantly changing full wall HDTV of nature. The room was light, airy, and impeccably clean with a great king bed. Our only down side was that the hot tub was on the blink - for which they gave us a small discount. Breakfast was good - a different entree each day plus fruit, etc - not gourmet but good. I would stay here again easily.

We stayed 2 nights in the Juniper room, Comfortable bed. The bathroom was large with a very nice tub, but it did not have an actual shower, only a handheld shower to use while in the tub. Nice little porch with a view of Capitol Reef. (I do believe each room is different)

It seems that the inn keepers have given thought to little things that make a stay more comfortable, for example:night lite, flash lite in drawer, multi-plug outlet (for all those devices that need to be recharged like cell phones, Nooks, I-pads, etc. that do not need alot of power - how many times have you searched around a room to find enough outlets to plug them all in?)

The common rooms were inviting, and breakfast good and satisfying

My family of 4 just spent 2 wonderful nights here and would stay here in a second! We had the Tumbleweed room and it was perfect to watch the sun rise and set. The private patio was very cool---watched a storm come into the valley(awesome!)---and you see nothing but nature. We spent the entire day hiking and were glad to come back to a great refuge like this. It was quiet and very clean. You have 2 choices for breakfast time---I love this flexibility because we appreciated the extra half hour the day after our hike. The view from the breakfast table is fantastic as was the breakfast itself---my son loved the fact that they actually had breakfast cereal as a choice----more than enough great food for even the pickiest eater(like my son). Plenty of room and a very enjoyable place to stay-----I would recommend this place to anyone!

My wife and I stayed at the Sky Ridge Inn one night while passing through Torrey in mid July. We found it to be a nice quiet place high up on a hill with a beautiful view. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities. Breakfast was outstanding with a variety of items and served at 8am.

Very impressive B&B....we were visiting the NP and spent one night here. It was comfortable and cozy, and well decorated. Mattresses were super! The inn keepers were helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. The day we were here we had eggs, sausage, wonderful pancakes, fruit platter also available was yogurt, granola, cereals. The inn was quiet. What a great place to relax after touring all day. Our room was large and came with sitting area, not just a bed in a small place. Our room had plenty of windows to see the incredible views. Rooms had complimentary coffee and tea service. You must stay here!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms come with their own private porch with hot tub....check them all out!
