Highly suggest reservations in the glassed room which faces 42nd street especially beautiful in the winter when it is snowing. The bar is just off the main entranceway/coatroom/reservation area and a great place to relax while waiting for your friends to arrive. The staff is the best and the managing partner, Jill Dickstein, runs this professional operation to make sure all the details are taken care of without fail. Our family members visit here five or six times a year and say each visit was awesome. We suggest the porterhouse or filet with French beans and au gratin potatoes to share. Add a salad if you are really famished. This experience is what you would expect to find at a high end steakhouse!.
