Have been to this noodle bar twice in the last three days - food and service is excellent and on the second visit we were fortunate enough to sit at the noodle bar facing the kitchen. To watch the chef team while you eat is an experience in itself. Their teamwork, agility and seamless precision in the kitchen rivals German motor engineering. I have not seen anything like it and definitely worth watching. Menu is simple with a couple dishes to cater for all tastes. I can recommend the Momofuku Ramen and Shrimp Buns. Excellent experience!

I was a little skeptical about coming here having only associated ramen with the stuff that comes in a cellophane wrapper. But others in my group who live in New York said this was one of their favorite places for lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good ramen can be! We all had the Momofuku ramen and we got the shiitake buns, the shrimp buns and the pork buns and shared. The food was delicious and beautiful. For me, the shiitake buns were the star of the show. They were so flavorful. I had heard it was a long wait, but our wait wasn't too bad. The only downside was that the seating was really crowded and you're seated at long tables that are crammed together and you share tables with other diners with barely any room to pass through if you're seated on the inside. This is a very popular place so the noise level can be a bit of an issue too. But the food and the service were great.

Momofuku was unbelievably packed when we arrives for dinner at 10pm. (Only reservation we could get?!?) A group of 6 shared a 2 style fried chicken preparation ordered in advance. The Asian style chicken was good but the southern style fried chicken was excellent! Dishes came with pancakes and assorted vegetables to put together with chicken. There was plenty of food for everyone. Make sure you reserve in advance.

During a recent training I attended, we were allowed to go explore NYC and this place was #1 on the list for restaurants I wanted to visit. There were three of us, so this was my selection. We first went to World Trade Center Memorial in the morning and then headed to this spot. We were fortunate because we arrived at around 10:45 in the morning, it opened at 11, and there was already a line of about 15-20 outside this place. When it opened we were lucky enough to get a table, which is saying something because this establishment is small. It is not very wide, but it is long. Be prepared to be sitting next to strangers and other parties in close proximity. I was surprised by their menu and the fact that they offered "Mexican" Coke as a beverage. All of us ordered the noodles. They came out relatively quickly, were well prepared and proportioned. The noodles came with an egg, which I took out, tender pork, a fish cake, and what I believed to be Kale. The noodles were amazing, very soft and almost dissolved in my mouth. The pork, which I wish I would've ordered an extra piece, was tender and juicy. The broth, oh my, the broth was equally amazing. I devoured this dish and it left me feeling pretty full which was good because we had a lot of walking to do the rest of the day. I highly recommend to those who like Ramen. You will not be disappointed.

If you're venturing from the city all the way out here to try the famous poached egg and ramen don't make the trip! If you're in the neighbourhood sure why not. I did enjoy the baos they had, great flavours. But as a tourist from Melbourne I was really disappointed in the ramen, it was hella expensive for what it was, my egg wasn't perfectly poached like the videos of MOMOFUKU ramen you see, no runny yolk when I opened it up and the broth had a burnt taste to it. I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected I would. I would rate 6/10 for the ramen. And I love my ramen.. Sad to say I was really looking forward to it but left really disappointed :( better ramen found near Times Square.
