We walked through Rockefeller Center after visiting TOTR! It was a neat place to see. I would love to go back in the winter when there is ice skating!

“Rockefeller Centre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

First visit to New York and we were advised to visit the Rockafella Centre for the fantastic views of the city, so our group of 5 decided to do this at night. The advice given was correct - it it absolutely amazing and the lights of New York were fantastic.
The Tour time we had was 1025- 1040, which gave us a waiting time of around 1 hour until our elevator to the top, so we were quite disappointed that most shops, cafés etc were already closed, Starbucks being one of the few places still open, but was very low on choices of snacks.
We then went up to the 67th floor, had our photographs taken and headed up to the top, and had further photographs taken with the fantastic New York night time backdrop behind us.
The fiasco that then followed when we eventually went back down to retrieve our photos was comical, the staff were not very convincing in their bid to help find our now "missing photos". We were told to go away for 20 minutes and come back - which we did, the ground floor staff in the centre by this time (around 1130) were now very eager to empty the building and kept trying to usher us outside! We were told the restrooms were closed and not allowed to use them, which made the situation quite uncomfortable for 2 of our party as we had no choice but to wait around for our missing photos.
Eventually now nearly midnight and still a lengthy queue for photographs - obviously we were not the only one this happened to, our photographs were found but the girls behind the counter were clearly past caring which photos we chose, and happy to give us anything, we felt they were to busy talking to one another!
All in all not the best experience of New York service and customer care! My rating for this would be 1, however the views from the top are fantastic.

“Rockefeller centre tour”

Helga gave us an informative and entertaining tour of the centre and it's art. We all enjoyed it and built a greater appreciation of the many facets of this centre. We also visited the top - great view what else to say!

We used the New York pass which was fine but we couldn't pre book on line and booked at the box office the day before, not a problem as our hotel was so close, but would have been a hassle if not.

“Pretty, not much to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

I am sure this is great at Christmas, but not much to see here. Sure, its a landmark for New York and seen in a lot of movies but don't expect to be moved or in awe. There is a flower piece of art(half dog and half dinosaur)that is really huge. We took two pictures and moved on. Stop by when going to NBC studios, don't make a special trip- unless it's during the holidays.
