This iconic area is cool to see in person at any time of year. Smaller than it appears on TV, this is home to the crowd that gathers daily to see NBCs The Today Show, and the famed ice skating rink in the winter months. It's pretty cool to see.
Rockefeller Centre is made up of more than the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Here lies boutique stores, food vendors, studios, living space and outdoor park space.
Rockefeller Centre is known for it's iconic Christmas Tree and skating rink but there is so much more to enjoy. The Frieze Sculpture and tulips erected over night in the Chanel Gardens. The multiple studios housing Saturday Night Live, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Radio City Music Hall. New Yorker's actually live and work in this building.

Overrated and unbelievably crowded. Much prefer the Bryant Park Christmas Village and ice skating rink.
We went there at around 7:45 pm. The night views were amazing. We were lucky that day. The sky was very clear so we could have a lovely view of the NYC. If you want to see the beautiful sunset, you would better book the tickets in advance.
I booked the tour with my wife and surprisingly we enjoyed it. Our guide, Lisa, had provided us all information regarding the history of Rockefeller's and everything they built and how, so that was like a history lecture.
If you are passionate about details of the place, you should add this in your to do list.
