“Amazing!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

This is my favorite museum in NYC!! It was really a pity we decided to visit it in the afternoon because we did not have the time to visit all the rooms (and we stayed 3 hours!).
The audio guide is highly recommended as it explains almost everything and the visit is therefore more interesting, especially if you are not a specialist.
Definitely a must see!

“You must go!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

You need to plan a lot of time because this Museum is So big and there is so much to see!
As far as the entry price goes, they suggest 25$ but it is a "give want you want donation" so you can visit for very few dollars but it's well worth the suggested price!

“What else can be said?”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Liked the bag check and the cafeteria. The layout map was very helpful but sometimes difficult to follow. Only saw about 20% on this visit. we were there 2 hours. All the merchant carts lined up on the sidewalk in front of the building took away from the experience.

“Museum is wonderful for all ages”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

The Museum contains many amazing things. If you need help finding some unique highlights, pick up the free top twelve guide aimed at kids from one of the information desks. It lists places and pieces of art spread across the Museum that will guide you on a journey of exploration. The list includes Degas' Little Dancer, the medieval arms and armor, and the Chinese Garden. It is a great way to help kids get a taste of the variety of the collections, adults enjoy it too.

Both the Egyptian collection and the Impressionist collections are worth viewing multiple times. You can spend an hour and get a taste or spend the entire day and still have things left to see on another trip. The place will absorb as much time as you feel like giving it.

The food isn't bad so you can plan on getting lunch or a snack when you need a break from walking around the galleries.

Don't miss spending some time there when you visit New York City.
