“Always Amazing!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

A must do when in NYC. Always something fabulous to see and learn about. Please do not miss! Tips: go early to avoid lines and crowds. Pick one area to spend time and enjoy. Don't try to do too much - it's overwhelming but worth the trip.

“Fantastic.”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

You'll need more than one day to truly appreciate this institution. A must see. Keep in mind that the admission prices posted are "recommended" and that you can pay what you like. This is in contrast to the Guggenheim Museum which charges $22 for an exhibit a fraction of the size of the Met.

“In a word: Awesome!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

We had a great time here but please note that this place is HUGE!!! My advice is to plan out your visit ahead of time on the website and map out what your priorities are to see. Otherwise it is a bit daunting due to the size.

We really enjoyed the impressionists. What a great collection!

There are so many different type of works on display here it is hard to even summarize. All 5 us us young and old enjoyed this museum tremendously.... and liked it much more than MoMA. Thanks for reading.

“Historic”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Amazing and iconic building even to just walk around, never mind the art hanging on the walls! $25 is a bit much to 'recommend' as a donation, but you can give less if you feel (or if you only have a short amount of time like us).
