“Fantastic Place to Stay in NYC”
Reviewed 4 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We stayed here for three nights at the end of October beginning of November. We loved this apartment. If and when we come back to New York, it will be our first choice of place to stay.
The apartment is stylish and comfortable, with the biggest bed we have ever seen, dressed with lovely bedding and pillows. We slept so well. It has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, thoughtfully stocked with essentials. It even has a cute little garden. We loved being able to retreat here after hectic days exploring Manhattan. We did have a car and you can find street parking but be prepared to pay close attention to the parking restrictions and make sure to move your car according to permitted days. Driving in NYC is.... let's say it raises the heart rate.
It was so easy to get on the subway and be in Manhattan without any stress so Iwe would suggest sticking to that. We had a car because we travelled to Massachusetts and to the Catskills as part of our vacation, an amazing contrast to the city. We did three days in NYC, five days out and three days back in the city again. NYC can be overwhelming, so breaking it up like that worked really well
Don't miss the 9/11 memorial and World Trade Centre. Do go up the WTC, so worth the money!

“Absolutely charming, an oasis of green in Williamsburg, Brooklyn!”
Reviewed 30 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Everything about this stay was perfect! The apartment is even more beautiful than the pictures show, and the yard is beautiful. The place was spotless, well-stocked and in mint condition. Hannah has thought of everything, from dishes and glassware to bathrobes to bug spray. I was in awe and we will definitely rent again!!
I can honestly say that Hannah's rental exceeded all of my expectations. It was exceptionally clean on our arrival. Both my kids (boys, 7 and 14 years old) remarked how it smelled "really good." The outdoor space is a wonderful place to eat breakfast in. The weather was pretty much perfect during our stay so we were really able to enjoy this beautiful garden area. The attention to detail is what makes this rental stand out. Things like q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom. Organic eggs, milk, and butter in the fridge on our arrival. Even shampoo and conditioner were available not to mention little things that are easy to overlook but a pain to purchase on vacation like laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, foil and plastic baggies for leftovers. It was all there and so much more that I wouldn't even have room to write about! Hannah was extremely attentive to all of our needs, essentially giving us an itinerary for the day of our arrival while we were waiting to be able to get into the apartment. I had a lot of questions prior to arrival about things like where to shop, how to get around and such and Hannah answered them all very thoroughly. She was always available via text thereafter as well although we managed pretty well on our own. Also, there is a guidebook inside the rental that explains how everything in the apartment works and also gives very helpful tips about where to eat and shop in the area. I can truly say that everything about this rental makes you feel like the owner really takes pride in ownership and that is something that is not always the case and to be appreciated when it is. The location is everything it is described to be. It is just fun to walk down the street and people watch. Everyone has their own unique style. It is what I imagined New York City to be and so much more! Also, it really is only a couple short blocks to the subway and then four quick stops from there to one of the main connecting subway stations. Very easy to get around. I recommend buying the 7 day metro pass if you will be there 7 days. For only 30 dollars, you get unlimited subway usage for the whole 7 days. Really a good deal. Some additional reflections on NYC: Everything can be delivered. We ordered Fette Sau barbecue (soooooo delicious!!!) and had it delivered after a long day sightseeing. Why can't everyone deliver like this where I live?!?!? We went to Smorgasburg on Hannah's recommendation - if you are there on a Saturday, don't miss it. Its a food lovers paradise! Finally, I will say that I truly believe that this rental is the best possible option for the price in NYC. I was impressed, impressed, impressed and will not consider any other if/when I return to this amazing city!
