“Perfect for every taste”
Reviewed 31 December 2013

I have to admit that I went for it for its cute little mascot to see what they have to offer after all I was in NYC after two years and wanted to try out all the best it could offer plus one little dumpling can’t hurt you especially one with a cute mascot. Apart from the fact that it is a struggle to stand in the shop because the shop is as much you can spread you hands suitable for maximum three persons but then if you are one of those three you can actually see the dumplings made fresh in front of you. But it doesn’t matter as far as you get to try their tasty dumplings. I had shrimp which was grilled and I ordered another simply because I couldn’t enough while my friends went with pork and chicken, I personally liked their shrimp but then each of them are tasty and absolutely mouth watering. I m definitely keeping this place as a must visit places for my next NYC trip.

“Not bad but the idea is better than its implementation”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Great idea -dumplings are made in front of you, hence fresh by definition & cooked as you order. Unfortunately the implementation - dumplings themselves- is pretty poor: heavy, greasy, lacking usual smooth and delicate character of small dumplings. Disappointed.

“Large group, largely disappointed.”

Poor service, misguided etiquette to eating Chinese, felt like we were hurried. Told what we should have and dishes were not delivered at same time to enjoy and share. Overall, a poor experiences from which I hope they Improve..

“Dumplings are good - nice experience ”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 via mobile

The dumplings in this place are really nice. Bubble tea is not the real deal, but the dumplings are good. It's cool to see how they're hand-made.

“Fun for the kids”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

Stopped in for an early lunch and we were able to get seats at the counter allowing us to watch them assemble the dumplings. The kids loved to watch and took loads of pictures (kept them occupied). The tasty dumplings come with an assortment of fillings, some quite non traditional for those who are more adventurous and may be steamed or pan fried. They also have soups and salads for those who are dumplinged out.
