Reviewed 21 April 2012

there is nothing not to love about this place. no matter what your fancy from art to antiques to architecture, this place is amazing. the view into central park made me feel like a child again, i wanted to burst through the doors and play- very informative audio provided though pick and chose what you want to listen to or it will take days to get through this wonder

“A small gem”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

For those who are overwhelmed by huge museums like the Metropolitan Museum of art, the Frick is more accessible, but still of very high quality in their offerings. They have a large collection of art which they continuously rotate so the art is always changing and interesting. In my opinion, one should see both museums, just devote more time, over several days, to the Met. You can do this one in one afternoon.

“You won't be disappointed”
Reviewed 20 April 2012

An amazing art collection that grew out of a chapter of the "new" wealth of the American industrial era. Enjoy each work. Take it in. Walk slowly. Sit, rest and repeat. Definitely see, also, the film about Frick's business practices and how his fortune and the art collection were amassed.

If you only have time to do one museum make it this one. Amazing art and antiques all in situ.

“Superb!”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

A great way to spend a few hours looking at the antiques and artwork.... the house and gardens are also amazing. Visit on a Sunday and you can pay what you like, although visiting other days is only $18 which seems very cheap as other museums are a lot more expensive.
