It was right in the middle of the theatre district on Broadway. Our hotel recommend it because we wanted cheesecake. The food looked amazing but we were just getting desert. The #seller, according to the waitress was the plain, we took her advice and it was delicious! The place was packed but we were seated fairly quickly. The service and fast and friendly.

“Nice museum”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The Frick has a number of notable items, such as a couple of Vermeer's I'd not seen before, and an amazing Rembrandt that almost brought me to tears. I liked that the collection was on the small side, so as not to be terribly overwhelming to novice museums goers such as myself :) Frick also had a number of statues and antique furniture that were a nice addition to the art on the walls. I love that the museum used to be a residence too - very charming!

“Wonderful museum”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The Frick Collection is a lovely museum that used to be the mansion of Henry Clay Frick. There is an atrium with a fountain that you can sit and relax in. They had an exhibit of a painting that has never been out of Europe. "The Turkish Slave". Most of the paintings and sculpture are from Frick's collection. It is an easy afternoon of walking around, enjoying the art and can be seen in a couple of hours. Very nice
