A casual but delicious choice. Be open - minded and try something new. I tried the farro with a chicken dish called "shamwa". It was a great choice. The service was friendly. Reservations were not needed on a Saturday evening.

IN town on vacation and tons of places to eat on Broadway. It was late about 9 and walked in and very friendly staff!

Cool set up nice looking place. Has a cool community style main table.

Sometimes places that have a lot of vegetarian options can look hippy like.

Nanoosh is hipster not hippy, clean lines and causal.

Food is great lots of flavors, big portions and options.

We liked it so much we went back 3 times and did talk out once to our hotel. They also do delivery!

Went here for a bite to eat on a Saturday evening. We noticed there was a special on foursquare offering a free non-alcoholic beverage or small soup. We asked the waitress if we could use it and she confirmed we could. Ordered two entrees along with a soup and drink. Everything was pretty tasty but when it came time for the check we were left with a sour taste in our mouths. Our waitress only took of one of the foursquare items because she said it was one per table. Nowhere in foursquare did it say this like other establishments note nor did she say that at the time of ordering when specifically asked if we could both use it. We were really disappointed with the service and her lack of concern for misleading us. One other big point: this restaurant charges different prices for takeout. I've never been to another NYC restaurant that has on average a $3 difference on every food item depending on eating in or taking out. It was quite annoying and in the future they will not be seeing us eating there.

A friend and I were eager to eat here because we had read good reviews and we both like Middle Eastern cuisine. We were a little put off by the music levels when we entered, but decided to persevere. My humus/tahini plate was good - creamy with just the right amount of olive oil poured on top and dusted with fresh spices. The fresh, wholewheat pita was an excellent accompaniment.

II thought it was a bit expensive compared to what I can get for the same amount along Atlantic Avenue or Queens Boulevard, but this was convenient for our afterwork rendez-vous. Not convenient was the volume of the music progressively raised as the dinner time crowd increased. I know restaurants engage in this strategy to speed up table turn over, but it was enough for me to write Nanoosh off my list of places to meet friends after work.

I liked their options for lunch a lot (good combinations one can choose) and the service was good. Not tons of room for our party of five, but we got seating after 5 mins. Good soups, but the pita bread was a bit thick and weird seeming.
