“Window shopping and never stopping to buy”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

A lot of these stores out of my price range, but interspersed were stores more affordable. Lovely to wander along and window shop and people watch. Walked along here from Times Square to Central Park, easy enjoyable walk. FAO Schwarz toy shop on corner opposite central park fun place for the children amongst us.

“Breathtaking avenue”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

We alighted from our ride somewhere near 1 West 58th avenue for some shopping at Trump Plaza. Then we walked straight to Fifth avenue and saw along the other end of the avenue nearby Central Park. Walked all the way down and briefed through the branded fashion boutique stores. Had a lot of damage with the shopping and more so did my wife.

St Patrick Cathedral is alongside this avenue but it is on renovation in progress. Further down intersecting 47th ave, you can find your way to Time a Square or other avenues which could directly lead you to Grand Central Station and also Broadway. Try the upper side of 4th avenue intersecting from 54th ave (if I recall correctly) could also do some shopping damage for designer brands boutique.

“A must-see during Christmas”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

Make sure you go before 7 pm. The shops close pretty much after that. Very nice for window shopping, but not more if you do not want to spend more than $100 shopping. All brand and designer names.
If I had a day or two I would bother visiting fifth ave. But if you are in NY for a week it is definitely a must see.

“There is nowhere on earth like Fifth”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Maybe not everyones cup of tea but what a place Fifth Avenue is. Full of designer shops it is great to just walk it and take in the atmosphere. hail a yellow cab within seconds when you've had enough and want to get out of the rat race. But it calls you back and back and back
