Just because it is fifth avenue in New York City. The street is nice, it's fun to look at all the stores and fanciness of it all.

“Long but complete”

This avenue has its high fashion part, the museum mile partand so on. If you walk through this Avenue you also can visit the Central Park. Must do!

“Bucket list tick”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Like jogging in central park and walking over Brooklyn bridge, seeing and shopping in Fifth avenue is a must for all visitors to NYC. You feel like a movie extra just walking down this iconic street...in many way the centre of NY commerce and the heart of Main St USA. We shpped in Tiffany's and the Apple store is amazing.

“a must do”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

This is a must do while in NY. The street itself, the buildings, the incredible stores you won't get a chance to see, the way you see them there, anywhere else. Make sure you visit Tiffany's. It's one of the most beautiful.

“Not what I expected. ”
Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

As a first time visited to NYC, I expected Fifth Avenue to be much like Oxford Street in London. Although it has some similar shops and some more upmarket ones, the shops are very spaced out and there aren't so many of your regular 'high street' shops, meaning there's a lot of walking and map reading to be done.

Additionally, the prices aren't that cheap. Granted, you will find bargains here and there, but on the whole, it's not really that much cheaper than the UK.

I would much rather shop on Oxford Street than Fifth Avenue, but hey, that's my personal choice.
