Was always curious about this place. Brought my soon to be 8 year old daughter. I found that 80% of the exhibits were geared towards the less than 5 year old age group. My daughter seemed to have enjoyed herself nonetheless. There is a Dora & Diego exhibit, which is suited for toddlers and pre-schoolers. The market place area and fire truck provide good imagination-provoking fun. No food or drinks allowed inside the museum and not on-site cafe.

Feels more like a neighborhood playplace. So many exhibits not working quite right. On the bright side--our 3 year old didn't know the difference. He had fun.
Pleasant staff.

More of a safe, educational play area than a museum, it was still a great place to take my two-year old granddaughter. Three floors of things for her to explore, climb on, and more. The third floor was especially good for toddlers - small slides, a peek-a-boo window, a giant light board, and more. We spent over an hour and a half just on this floor. The second floor had some wonderful musical and kitchen/grocery shopping activities. The only down side was the older kids that were running around, sometimes causing chaos. Where was an adult supervising them?

For a children museum it's a bit small and priced at approx $13 per person but for folks who lives in Manhattan I guess it's the only game in town. It's not a place suburb folks would drive out for since you gave your own local children museum. Came here on a Sunday and tickets were comped from employers corporate partnership programs. Otherwise it's a bit expensive and small.

Our daughter had an absolute blast.. played herself to exhaustion.
Seen from the eyes of a little one it was spectacular. Playrooms with different activities cater to different ages.

The biggest problem is many of the parents turn their kids loose and check out, sitting in the corner buried in their phones. Which I'm sure is lovely if you have older ones but get your 8 year old out of the area for the little's. Did you not just see your kid grab from mine or shove another one.

Given the hype we expected a bigger more engaging space. We enjoyed it a lot but expected more. Would go again.
