My boyfriend and I recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel for our very first trip to NYC. We are more than satisfied! First of all, the bed was very comfortable (I'm pregnant so it was very important to me). We also got a free upgrade to a King size room (for the price of a Queen size room) which was nice! The room was larger than I expected (for a NYC hotel) and very clean. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was great and had a lot of diversity (donuts, cereals, fruits, bagels, yogurts, juice, coffee etc) which I liked. One thing : our room was facing the street so it was a little bit noisy in the middle of the night.

The location of this hotel is just perfect, being just a block away from Times Square ! So almost all the attractions were very near.

We will definitely consider this hotel for our future trip to NYC!

Room Tip: If you can, ask for a room not facing the street.

Dear Pohlz,
Thank you for your review and congratulations! We are glad that you enjoyed everything about the hotel and hope you had fun in NYC. We are sorry that there was noise in the middle of the night from the street. We hope this did not interfere with your sleep.
We look forward to welcoming you on your next trip to New York City.

My two granddaughters and I stayed one night and were very satisfied with the service, the cleanliness and the breakfast. We arrived early and was able to check-in at noon instead of waiting for 3:00pm. Our room was adequate and enough room for the 3 of us. The location was perfect; we were able to walk to all the attractions. We will be staying here again for our future visits.

Our room was quiet (at the back of the hotel) despite being close to Times square and the staff could not have been friendlier. We were also able to leave luggage with them for a whole day after we checked out which was helpful. There are definitely cheaper options but this was a good compromise between price and location.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are not overlooking 46th street and are therefore quieter.

Stayed here most recently for two nights in July 2012. This was my third stay at the hotel in the last three years and will always be my first choice when visiting NYC

Not sure why the hotel has been re-branded (on previous vists it was a "Comfort Inn") but standards and VALUE FOR MONEY remain as good as ever

Less than half a block from Times Square, a quiet room (except for the aircon!) and all the facilities you would expect from a mid range hotel. Excellent complimentary breakfast

Similar hotels in this locality are all charging double the rates on offer here. I will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the hotel very clean and quiet, especially considering how close it is to Times Square! It's out the door and 1/2 block down. Also within a close walk to subways, Rockefeller center, Bryant Park, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was a great start to the day. We'll be back!!
