The Hotel is fancy. We booked a room with 2 double beds. They can get you a better rate on the phone or try priceline. the parking is $45 per day. We walked everywhere and booked the Grey line double decker bus to hop on and off. The location of the Hotel is good. Its on 6 Ave and 54 Streel. Time square is on 7th Avenue and around 46th street so its a 10 minute walk from the Hotel. Central park is also 10 minute walk from the Hotel. Try also Stardust restaurant on 7 Ave. Its a lot of fun as waiters and waitresses take turns signing. Little Italy near China town has nice italian Restaurants . If you like shopping try Woodbury Outlets on I87 exit 16.

Girls weekend away at the beginning of June. We have never been to New York before and chose the Warwick off of the recommendation of a friend. The location was perfect, the accomodations were wonderful and staff was super friendly and helpful. I am so thankful we chose the Warwick over the Hilton that was across the street. The quaint, boutique atmosphere was ideal to celebrate 30 years of friendship. I honestly cannot think of a single thing that I didn't enjoy about the hotel.

The bar was clean, friendly and the perfect place to watch the NBA playoffs. Murals restaurant had an ideal breakfast. Umbrellas were available in the room for our stay (which was necessary with three days out of five of rain). I didn't notice any noise, which I expected in New York City but the minute I hit the bed, which was devine, I was out cold.

This is truly a hotel I will return to again and again!

Room Tip: Our room had a view of 6th Avenue but I didn't go to New York for the view.

Went to New York for my 50th birthday and for my Daughter's 21st. We had a wonderful stay at the Warwick Hotel. As it was a special occasion we were given a room with a view of 6th Avenue and provided with a free bottle of bubbly and some chocolate dipped strawberries. The room was a good size and extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We would certainly stay again at the Warwick.

We live close to NYC and often stay there, so we've tried many hotels. This was the first time we stayed here. It was wonderful. We asked for a quiet room. I wouldn't recommend doing this. They define this as a room in the back of the hotel. The room faced a brick wall and some pipes. It was as dark as a cave. I called the desk and said I was unhappy. They immediately apologized and gave us a corner room with windows overlooking 6th Ave. A bright beautiful room. The hotel was built in the 1920s so you will find the bathrooms quite small (but updated nicely) and the elevator is about 1/2 the size of a typical hotel elevator. The lobby is small. But, the Art Deco lighting is classic, the photos are nostalgic, the decor is current with that 1920s-40s style. The restaurant has beautiful restored murals. The location is great. You're close to MOMA (it was our view from one window), Central Park, shopping, and the theatre district. I'd stay again in a heart beat!

Thank you very much for your kind words about our hotel following your recent stay with us. It was wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that our location and decor appealed to you. The "quiet" room you intially occupied had a beautiful view when the hotel first opened 90 years ago, and then came the neighbors... Please do come back and stay with us again. We will be here for you.

Low efficiency, not considerate at all! We arrived JFK in the early morning and called to see if we can check in early. The front desk said we can get our room as soon as there's room available, usually before 10am. As a result we had to stay on the hotel couch for three hours, though dozens of guests checked out and house keeping started hours before! Really don't understand how these guys work:( Will never stay here again!

Thank you very much for taking the time to voice your displeasure with the fact that we didn't have a room ready for you when you arrived from JFK very early in the morning. While many of our guests do check out early, we are awalys working to accommodate arriving guests in the room type that was actually reserved and I do seem to remember that you required a room with two beds. Unfortunately on the morning in question the overwhelming majority of all check outs was leaving from rooms with only one bed, which caused the delay in providing you with a freshly cleaned room with two beds. Please do consider staying with us again the next time your travels bring you to New York so that we can prove to you that we are indeed focused on complete guest satisfaction.

This is a decent choice for a room while in the City on business. The rooms were spacious as far as New York goes. Bathroom was small but bedding was extremely nice.

The Bar was very expensive and the Fitness Center TV's didn't really work well. No what you would expect for $600 a night.

Check in was very easy and location is great to Central Park. Internet worked well but was about $15 a night, pretty standard.

This hotel does nothing to stand out but does nothing to cause concern either. Just kind of like blah!

Stayed two nights this past weekend, had a great time. The Warwick is a classic and historic looking hotel. The lobby was well sized for New York City and looks very distinguished. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful as are the luggage handlers. We missed housekeeping since we woke up late, but let the front desk know and they nicely sent them later on.

The Room:

-Had a corner room so it was quite large and had windows on two of the walls
-Unfortunately the room was in the back of the hotel so there was no view at all, but it was very quiet which is also nice.
-Very clean and well furnished, it was one of the recently renovated rooms so it didn't look as old as some of the others in these pictures.
-Comfortable bed and good lighting (you can actually shut off and turn on all the lights very easily with the control switches they have by the door and by the bed. Super convenient.
-Bathroom was quite nice, marble walls and counter, but really small. Enough space for temporary purposes though.

Location could not be more perfect. In sight of the bottom of central park. Walking distance to Times Square and all major Broadway Theaters. Magnolia Bakery is a block away, 5th Ave shopping is around the block, and also the hotel is on the corner of 54th, the famous Halal Guys are on the corner of 53rd, you could have a conversation with them if you shouted.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view on the front side of the hotel Ask for a renovated room Rooms in the ba...
