Once again we stayed at the Warwick in NYC. We came up for both business and pleasure. Upon our arrival we were greeted and immediately after signing in were given a very nice, clean, modern and bug free room. The Hotel has re-modeled their rooms and we had absolutely no complaints.
The staff all greeted us, by name, and once again made us feel like we were home. The food was quite good and so was the service.
If you're looking for ultra fancy ego tripping hotel, go some where else. If you want safe, clean, quiet and friendly place, then The Warwick is a good bet for you.

The Hotel was good and The ubication is excelent. The room was big enough and confortable. But The bathroom was The smalest I'd Ever seen in my life! So unconfortable! I'm a small woman but I sure that a man can't fit inside!!! Won't back again.

This was our third or fourth stay at the Warwick NYC. We had two rooms.

The positive - as always, great location, rooms are comfortable, clean, staff is usually pleasant and polite.

The negative - Elevators - 3-4 small elevators do not work for such a large hotel. During busy hours you can wait a good 10-15 minutes for an elevator with room. (We did).
Check-in - went smoothly but then had to wait 15 minutes to have someone hold our luggage until rooms were ready. Understaffed? One of our rooms wasn't ready until 30 minutes after their guaranteed time. Got into said room at 4:30pm.

The Hotel's restaurant has a "C" rating which you can see from outside. No idea why they got this rating and hope it changes very soon. I've never seen a "C" rating in NY. I've seen a couple of "B" ratings but this doesn't inspire confidence.

Sorry to post a harsh review but I have higher expectations of the Warwick especially since we are repeat guests.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room. Rooms facing the street are not sound-proofed and it can get quite noisy.

Checking in late , one guy in the lobby , pretty slow . We got a room on 7th floor . We were greeted with pretty bad smell in the room and even worse moldy smell in the bathrooms . Noticed wet carpet from Ac unit . Too tired to deal with front desk decides to go to bad and tough it out . Again for the price of 8 hrs we needed to use that room I think they should take this room out of circulation . 3 stars for clean and comfy beds

The hotel has a great history (built by Randolph Hurst) and a even better location. The rooms are more than sufficient in size and are very well appointed and maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful with directions and others FAQ's. Randolph's lounge provides a fantastic get together area with comfortable chairs, seating tables, and couches. Keep in mind that this is NYC so be prepared to pay $$$$ for drinks and food, which is all prepared and presented wonderfully but expensive.
This hotel will run specials and if possible is well worth the discounted price. If you are driving there expect to pay $ 50/day for parking.
Overall we would definitely return, but I would probably wait for a discounted rate.

Room Tip: A/C and heating units (mounted under window sill) can be a little on the loud side, if possible chec...

The Warwick is ideally located within easy walking distance of the Theatre District, without being caught right in the mob scene. Many good restaurants, shopping, museums and Central Park are very close as well. Our room was a corner double, fairly spacious and comfortable for three people for four nights. Although the room had two windows, the view was of building walls; however, this was expected and not a problem. The bathroom was very small, but well appointed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Good value/great location.

I was going to skip reviewing the Warwick Hotel after a weekend visit, because this review would be just like my last one. However, I thought that hotels that go the extra mile in service and accommodations, and continue a tradition of excellence, deserve to be reviewed each time you visit, and the Warwick goes the extra mile. The location is, of course, great, directly across the street from MOMA, surrounded by excellent restaurants and a short walk to the theaters and to 5th Avenue shopping. Checked in and were given a room as soon as we arrived at noon. In a city that is famous for its small rooms, this room was big, very big and beautifully appointed, and immaculately clean. The bathroom was also a good size, attractive, with great pressure in the shower. Bed was extraordinarily comfortable with high cotton thread sheets. We didn't eat in the restaurant or visit the bar, but have in the past and were well satisfied. Check out was painless as was the retrieval of our car. We were treated well by all hotel employees we came in contact with. New York is a great city, but a visit there is so much better when you stay at a first class hotel like the Warwick. It has become our favorite in the city.
