“First time will not be my last”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Tried out their Sunday brunch Mimosa special with a group of 9. I suggest making reservations however your entire party (or at least the majority of it) must be present to be sat. Your 2 hours unlimited starts as soon as you sit. We all stuck with the Mimosas as they have a variety of flavors to choose from and you can try them all out. I stuck with Guanabana but also tried orange/vanilla and blackberry/mint. All three were delicious. A little tip to get the most out of your bottomless is to take a refill from whatever flavor the waiters are walking by with. I had about 5 drinks during our 2 hours and declined a few refills towards the end however a few at the table would have liked the staff to come by more often with refills. They do tend to be a little slow with the refill service probably on purpose. The table ordered tuna empanadas. Strange filling for an empanada but it was absolutely delicious. Also ordered guacamole and chips. That was also good. For entrees I ordered the french toast. It was delicious. The rest of the table had carne con yuca, cubano burger, burger and brussel sprouts. Everyone seemed pleased with their dishes and I tried a few. I have to say the regular burger was REALLY good. Especiialy for a 'Latino' spot where that isn't their specialty. Better than some burger spots I've had. The yuca fries are also good and the sauce they come with is awesome. Portion sizes were not disappointing. As a dessert we ordered a tres leeches. It was a different take on the typical tres leeches that I've had however it was really good for someone that is into that type of a dessert. The mimosa special is $15 for 2 hours of unlimited PLUS whatever food you order. For a table of 9 the bill came out to about $42 per person including tip and gratuity. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. It was completely opened at the time of my visit but had a nice breeze going through it. Don't expect to find parking nearby or even a parking garage. Drive a few blocks (at least 3) to find a spot. My only complaint would be they need more staff when the place is as busy as it was. There were a few times our waiter said they would be right back and they took long.

“Great, hip brunch”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

Walked into Sunday brunch at noon and were seated right away at the counter. We were told that if you dont have a reservation, you can only stay for an hour. Understandably, because of the bottomless mimosa special! $15 for bottomless delicious mimosas. Great atmosphere, great food. Highly recommend the eggs benedict. Service wasnt great sitting at the counter, but seemed good for those sitting at tables. The space can get very loud, but we didnt find it offensive! Will go back again.

“It's like your birthday everyday!”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Great food! We were a party of four and had dinner on a Friday. It was my second time there. First time a year ago. We let the waitress choose a selection of their dishes for us to share. Everything was to die for! We had fresh tuna bits on sticks, flatbread, corn sallad, taco with beef, empanadas, warm avocado with shrimps, mushroom croquettes, and a few more things. Even though everyone were very full we tried the dessert with caramellized banana, chocolate cake and lemon mousse. I still dream about it. We were prepared for a quite heavy bill but even that was a pleasant surprise. $ 200 for everything including a pincher of sangria, 4 beers, coffee and a double whiskey. This place is pretty loud and not the place for a serious conversation. More of a place to go to on your birthday. Or if you wish it to be your birthday.

“Used to be..”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

Well it used to be incredible, for brunch, which is when we usually go, and we've been going for years. Now everything is bigger, even the drinks, and louder, both the crowds and the music. Perhaps this is their formula for success. But when the plates were smaller you could try more things, which is well worth doing because the dishes here are always very, very good.
