“Hard to find, worth the search”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

Literally a hole in the wall: it happens to be a brick oven with a counter that turns out heavenly pizza. The fragrance of the pizza alone was a fantastic experience. You will have to search for this place tho', it's inside the Sony building. A small pizza is $13.00 an up, but if you really love great pizza, you will surely love this more than you loved the money that you gave up to purchase it. Friendly staff, eager to accommodate our requests.

“Food Coma. That is all.”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

I loved this place. Service was great, menu choices were varied and the food was so good, i wanted to stay there from dinner till breakfast. The waiter recommended the Mongolian Beef and so do I - it was succulent and melted in your mouth. Tuna tartar and chicken spring rolls for appetizers were amazing. We will go back again and again....!

“Pretty good pizza. Slow delivery”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

I ordered on Seamless, but delivery sometimes took a while.

The pizza is really good! I would not suggest the apple pizza though, it was a little funky.

“Delicious and stylish”
Reviewed 5 May 2013

When we learned the Prime Grill was closed we decided to try Solo which belongs to the same group. We were not disappointed! Although the service could be a bit more welcoming, it was acceptable. Those of us who ordered the Cowboy steak would compare every other meat ordered in every other restaurant to this dish. Excellent quality meat, perfectly prepared, and generous portions. The black angus was good too, but nothing comes near that Cowboy steak! HIGHLY recommended, we plan to go back the next time we are in NY!!!

“Tasty Kosher food”
Reviewed 13 April 2013

Solo is an upscale Kosher restaurant with great food, attentive staff, and generous portions; however, it is expensive. The main drawback about this restaurant is the noise level when filled with customers; no apparent "soft," sound absorbing surfaces. Thus, it was difficult to hear the conversation at our table. Nice selection of Kosher food and wines.
