The food was average; certainly did not live up to the rave reviews I had read in the press; however for kosher restaurants I'm willing to accept that it won't be a "great food experience" - ( i've dined at kosher restaurants in LA and London England so I'm not "new" to the "kosher experience"- my son is kosher - we are not) BUT what is not forgivable is the worst service I have ever experienced in my 40 plus years of restaurant dining; I found a chunk of pottery in my rice dish - could not get the waiters attention - he was and had been for sometime ignoring us - entertaining a couple at another table - so much so I had to ask when our bill was presented who were they- just friends of his he hadnt seen in a long time:!! when my husband finally got the attention of the manager - the manager's response was less than appropriate - made us feel as if we had planted it in the dish in order to get a free meal - THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT DESERVE ANY OF THE ACCOLADES I HAD READ ABOUT IN THE NYC PRESS. Do not go. Very disappointed
