Located just 50 yards off the main area of Times Square the Casablanca hotel is a perfect location for first time visitors to NY. The staff are incredibly courteous and friendly. The rooms are typically slightly small as is the case in many NY hotels but they are well furnished and very comfortable. There are added benefits of a lovely continental breakfast and complimentary wine and cheese from 5pm-8pm every evening. All in all this hotel would be a fantastic choice for any visitor to NY.

3 day visit and we wished we had reserved longer. This hotel is a gem. The staff is the best we have ever encountered. They went out of their way to assist us with all our questions and needs. . Whether it was the folks on the 2nd floor in the café or the housekeepers on the floor, Everyone greeted you with a smile and a pleasant "Good Day". We had a king room which was spacious and well appointed. The location of the hotel could not be any better. Steps away from Time Square. 4 really good restaurants within 25 yards. Just a few blocks from any show you might want to see. Macy's, Rockefeller Center, Sak's all are a short walk away. I could go on but once you experience this hotel yourself, then you will understand how great this place really is.
Hats off to the staff and management. You have a great team and a great product. See you again next year.

This is a small boutique hotel just metres from times Square and only a few minutes walk from most of the Broadway Theatres. Tea coffee and refreshments are available free 24 hours a day and a free wine and cheese evening is held everyday.
We booked the smallest ( and cheapest ) room which was large enough to move around comfortably and both bedroom and bathroom were very clean

Room Tip: If you need a fridge for medicines etc make sure to request when booking

The Casablanca Hotel is centrally located and makes it easy to walk to so many places like shows, restaurants, and shopping. We had a quiet room even though we were steps away from Times Square (503). In addition, the staff always went out of their way to help us and make our stay perfect. One last note, I left my phone behind, and I was amazed at how eagerly they got it back to me in Texas. I highly recommend both The Casablanca and Library Hotel.

We just checked out of the Casablanca Hotel. We chose the hotel on the recommendation of TripAdvisor travelers and we were not disappointed.

Location: The hotel is 500 feet from Times Square on 43rd street. We saw 3 plays and never had to walk more than 4 blocks. Three subway stops are within 2 blocks, so there is ready access to the city.

Service: Service was exceptional. We relied on the concierge for restaurant recommendations -- French Bistro, Greek, and Italian -- and were never disappointed. The concierge made all of our reservations. Likewise, we were given great directions to sights that we wanted to see. Everyone greeted us upon entry and leaving and after the second day, many of the staff welcomed us by name

Accomodations: Our room, despite being a bit small, was well decorated, clean and well organized. The ample closets allowed us to store our bags and purchases. The second floor coffee and snack station was a welcome stop when we came home after the theatre or a cold walk in the city. The free breakfast and wine and cheese service solved our breakfast and pre-theatre needs.

The number of repeat visitors is testament to the hotel. We met several guests who said: "This is my fifth (or tenth) visit to NYC and I would stay no where else." captures the essence of the hotel. We will stay no where else, either.
