Brilliant hotel. Not cheap but well worth every penny. An oasis of tranquility amongst the mayhem of Times Square. Location could not be bettered, staff highly attentive. All day and night lounge facilities superb with wine and cheese particularly innovative and appreciated. Room very comfortable, quiet and spacious. Air con noisy!!! Recommend to anyone

Everything you read about this hotel and more importantly, the staff is true.

We arrived on an exceptionally hot day to be met with an offer of ice cold bottled water while we checked in.

The location is so close to Times Square, you can sense the atmosphere but cannot hear it - which is a bonus. The hotel offer various aids for those that are light sleepers.

Complementary coffee and snacks throughout the day give your feet chance to recover.

The wine and cheese evenings allow guests to mingle before heading out to dinner.

All in all, the hotel offers great service, in an ideal location with very competitive rates. By this I compare it to the rates charged by a budget hotel chain for a Central London hotel.

This is the second but certainly not the last time we will stay at this hotel.

My wife and I took our two granddaughters (age 8 and 10) to New York and Philadelphia. After a lot of research we decided on the Casablanca. Turned out to be perfect for us. We had the junior suite. It worked well giving the girls and us some privacy. We made great use of the lounge on the second floor, enjoying the continental breakfasts and several times using the late afternoon wine and cheese spread for our dinner. The staff was pleasant, timely, and attentive to our needs. The place was as represented in the ads. Rooms and public area were romantically and pleasantly done. Excellent location, walked to the theater. Would not hesitate to slay there for our next visit.

Room Tip: We had a junior suite on the sixth floor. Was perfect for two adults and two young girls.

You couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience. This quirky gem located just off Times Square is a home away from home. The staff goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable. I only wish I had the sleep phones the first night because it got a bit noisy on the street outside.

What a gem of a hotel. The location is perfect for activities around Times Square. Literally 3 doors down from Times Square. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and your stay successful. The wine and cheese reception, morning continental breakfast and 24 hour water, coffee, tea and snacks make it like home.
The rooms are lovely and beautiful. Don't expect large rooms but plenty big enough and large bathrooms.
Definitely hope to be back.

We particularly enjoyed all the unexpected extras like receiving a cold bottle of water before heading out to explore the city on a hot day and the fact that we got a very quiet room we requested after our long flight. Wine and cheese in the evening and the spacious guest lounge with 24/7 drinks and biscuits. We loved the instructions for making an instant iced coffee and followed them - which provided us with a refreshing drink on a hot day. Character and charm and a fantastic Italian restaurant right next door. Very highly recommended.

We loved this hotel! It is just steps away from Times Square and the theatres are right nearby, so the location is excellent. The staff are all extremely professional: friendly, helpful, and courteous. Our room was not large, but it was very clean and well appointed. We did not have a great view from our room, but because we spent so much of our day exploring the city, we did not mind. We particularly enjoyed the lounge/cafe, which is called Rick's; it was a lovely, comfortable spot to have breakfast, to relax over an iced coffee or a glass of wine, and to read and relax before turning in at night. This hotel is a wonderful place to stay while exploring New York City.
